Sporting stylish sunglasses and a cool demeanor, Pari 'Koy star Dingdong Dantes props his legs up on a table to emphasize his bold choice in footwear. He is wearing a pair of blood orange pumps.

Dingdong posted the photo on his Instagram account, in support of the National Youth Commission's "In Her Shoes," a campaign which aims to empower women and is on its second year.

"Nagsuot ako ng heels bilang pagbibigay pugay sa mga kababaihan sa buong mundo, lalo na sa buhay ko: ang aking Nanay, mga kapatid, at lalo na ang aking asawang si Marian," he writes.

As the Commissioner of the National Youth Commission, he headed this year's walk along Quezon Avenue, which started at 9 am this morning (March 6).

He was joined by National Youth Commission chairperson Gio Tingson and some soldiers from soldiers from the Philippine Army who also wore ladies footwear for the walk.

Last year, male employees and volunteers of the National Youth Commission walked from Banawe to Welcome Rotonda in women's footwear. They literally walked a mile in her shoes last March 7, 2014 in “In Her Shoes: A Walk to End Gender-Based Violence and Injustice.”

Dingdong's wife Marian Rivera sponsored his shoes.
