It's official: John Lloyd Cruz is back!
The award-winning actor made his showbiz comeback in style at the “Siksik sa 6.6: The Shopee 6.6 Midyear Sale TV Special” staged yesterday, June 6.
It marked the first time that John Lloyd appeared on television after stepping away from the spotlight in 2017 to take a breather.
John Lloyd's guesting was the talk of the town and the actor trended on Twitter as fans and netizens were ecstatic seeing him once again in front of the camera.

John Lloyd started his TV comeback by singing the classic OPM song, “Yakap.”
The song was first popularized by Spanish-Filipino singer Antonio Morales Barretto, better known as Junior.
“Yakap” was a fitting choice as the song talks about a person who is yearning for a lost love after a long absence.
John Lloyd was visibly emotional when he was interviewed by host Willie Revillame.
John Lloyd said he's excited to be back in showbiz after taking a break in 2017 to focus on his personal life.
The talented actor also said that he's ready to fall in love again.
“Ikaw ba, handa ka na bang umibig ulit?” host Willie Revillame asked the actor.
“Handang handa na!” John Lloyd readily answered.
The public will soon see more of John Lloyd. Willie announced that he and John Lloyd will work together on a TV project.
“Abangan n'yo ho, magsasama kami ni Lloydie, isang primetime show. Abangan n'yo po 'yan dito sa GMA 7,” revealed Willie.
