On September 25, the successor of Rabiya Mateo will be crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2021. The excitement continues to build up as the coronation night approaches. Last night, the final 30 candidates have finally been announced.
After going through a series of virtual challenges such as the headshot, video introduction, runway, video casting, and interview challenges, the final 30 delegates who will be vying for the crown have been named.
Among the ladies who still have a chance to be crowned as the new queen are Steffi Abesturi of Cebu, Kirsten Danielle Delavin of Masbate, and Maureen Wroblewitz of Pangasinan.
The said three candidates secured a spot in The Final 30 through fan votes, which were casted from August 22 to August 31 through the Miss Universe Philippines App, and they are equally as qualified as the rest of the delegates in The Final 30.
It can be recalled that each of the three ladies fared well in the past challenges: Steffi Aberasturi slayed and won the runway challenge, Kirsten Delavin was among the top 15 in the headshot challenge based on fan votes, and Maureen Wroblewitz bested 74 other candidates in the video casting challenge.
Winners of the other virtual challenges also made it to The Final 30, including Maria Corazon Abalos of Mandaluyong whom the judges hailed as the headshot challenge winner, and Victoria Velasquez Vincent of Cavite who won the Interview challenge.
