The queen is back!
After leaving her home network in 2007, Miss World 2013 Megan Young signed an exclusive network contract with GMA Network, this March 31 (Tuesday).
The StarStruck alumna revealed during her interview with the press that she would be doing several soaps and announced she will be co-hosting StarStruck with Pari ‘Koy star Dingdong Dantes soon.
The beauty queen also gamely answered questions about her rumored boyfriend Bubble Gang mainstay Mikael Daez.

Megan was direct to the point and said she’s willing to work with the Kapuso hunk.
“Why not work with Mikael, I mean he’s a friend and I’ve known him for a really long time.”
“So, it would be interesting to work with him kasi hindi ko po siya nakikita sa work area niya at hindi niya pa ako nakikita sa work area ko. So, it would be interesting,” Megan added.
Define Love
The StarStruck avenger was also asked about the status of her love life. But Megan did not answer the question directly. Instead, she gave her own definition of what love is for her.
Megan said, “Ako kasi, love for me is any form of friendship, ‘yung family. Ako kasi when I invest in a friendship or in a relationship talagang you’re honest with the people around you, kahit sabihin natin na ka-work kita. I’ll be very honest with you. So that for me, being honest is love na.”
Extraordinary housewife
One of the questions that elicited a smile from the beauty queen, was when a member of the press asked her opinion about becoming a housewife in the future?
Megan quipped that she still wants to fulfill that dream, which she said was her goal before. But for now, she is focused with her showbiz career and with her commitments with GMA-7.
She said, “Gusto ko pa rin maging housewife in the future.”
“I think now the main focus is work. Siyempre I’m providing for my family, so that’s the number one priority now. Like I said, commitment ko is with the network. So gagawin ko ang lahat ng dapat kong gawin.”
Megan added, only time can tell when she will be ready to settle down.
“Pagdating kasi sa ganyan wala talagang tamang time. Nagyayari lang when it does. So pag dumating and you know it’s a good thing, then why not.”
