Marimar (2007) 

The Filipino remake of Thalia's 1994 Mexican telenovela 'Marimar' was the starting point for the phenomenal reel-to-real life romance of Kapuso Primetime Royalties Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes. They breathed life into the characters of Marimar and Sergio as they weather through stormy chapters in their love story.

The multi-awarded teleserye also stars Katrina Halili, Richard Gomez, Jestoni Alarcon, Rita Avila, Manilyn Reynes, and Bing Loyzaga among others.

Ako si Kim Sam Soon (2008)

The Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez starrer series was based on the 2005 hit drama 'My Lovely Sam-soon.' It follows the story of Samsoon, a brokenhearted baker who applies as a pastry chef in a hotel. There she meets Cyrus who offers her a deal to pretend to be his fiancée in hopes of escaping his mother's nagging. As time passes and the two grow closer together, all pretense fades and they start to truly fall in love with each other.

LaLola (2008)

Top-billed by Rhian Ramos and JC de Vera, the local adaptation of the 2007 Argentine television series 'LaLola' tells the tale of a heartbreaker bachelor who turns into a woman after receiving a cursed kiss from a babaylan.

The teleserye's star-studded cast also includes big names like Eddie Garcia, Jackie Lou Blanco, Wendell Ramos, Marvin Agustin, and Angelika dela Cruz to name a few.

All About Eve (2009)

Reliving the story of Eve and Nicole from the 2000 South Korean drama 'All About Eve,' Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado take on roles as two television news reporters who are competing for the coveted top spot in the network they work for.

Seasoned actors Eula Valdes, Jean Garcia, Mark Anthony Fernandez, and Richard Gomez also came together in the mission of bringing life to this story on female rivalry.

Rosalinda (2009) 

Apart from airing the original Thalia-starrer Mexican telenovela on GMA Network, 'Rosalinda' was also given its own Filipino spin with Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann as Rosalinda and Fernando Jose.

Katrina Halili, who previously played the kontrabida in the 2007 Kapuso remake of 'Marimar,' also locked in the antagonist role for this series.

Stairway to Heaven (2009)

Headlined by Dingdong Dantes and Rhian Ramos, the Philippine adaptation of the 2003 Koreanovela 'Stairway to Heaven' proved to be another successful endeavor for the network. The Kapuso Primetime King's brilliant portrayal of Cholo in the television series also became his ticket to landing the Best Drama Actor award at the 24th PMPC Star Awards for Television.

Full House (2009) 

Heart Evangelista and Richard Gutierrez led the local remake of the classic hit series 'Full House' which was first brought to life by South Korean actors Rain and Song Hye-kyo. The story centers around Jessie and Justin who are brought together by love, fate, and a "full house."

Isabel Oli, Patrick Garcia, Pilita Corrales, and Ronaldo Valdez also graced the romantic comedy series which lasted a total of 65 episodes.

Endless Love (2010)

Based on 'Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart' which originally starred Song Hye-kyo and Song Seung-heon, the Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera starrer follows the story of siblings Johnny and Jenny. It was later revealed that Jenny was not the real daughter of the family - therefore, driving them to part ways and pursue their separate lives.

After reuniting years later, Johnny and Jenny grow in love as they conquer the hindrances that prevent them from achieving their well-deserved happiness.

Coffee Prince (2012) 

Directed by veteran actor Ricky Davao, the local adaptation of 'Coffee Prince' stars Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica. It walks you through the story of Andy who poses as a man to keep her job in a cafe owned by Arthur's family.

To stop his grandmother from pestering him to settle down, Arthur asks Andy to pretend to be his gay lover but they later find themselves falling each other - which proves to be complicated since Andy was still a man in Arthur's eyes.

Temptation of Wife (2012) 

Dennis Trillo, who also starred in 'Endless Love,' reunited with Marian Rivera for the Kapuso remake of the 2008 South Korean drama 'Temptation of Wife.' The story centers around a woman named Angeline who sacrificed everything to marry Marcel even if his family was against their relationship.

Heidi, played by Glaiza de Castro, grew up secretly despising her friend and later started an affair with her husband Marcel. After she discovers that Angeline is pregnant with Marcel's child, Heidi attempts to kill her but she survives. Angeline then transforms herself into Chantal as she seeks revenge on Heidi and Marcel's family.

Marimar (2015) 

In 2015, the Kapuso Network pursued yet another version of the 1994 Mexican classic 'Marimar.'

Headlined by Tom Rodriguez and Miss World 2013 Megan Young, the teleserye spiced things up by having multi-awarded actress Jaclyn Jose play as the story's infamous kontrabida Angelika Santibańez. Megan's real-life sister Lauren also starred as Antonia Santibañez in the 2015 remake.

My Love from the Star (2017) 

Jennylyn Mercado and Gil Cuerva played the role of Steffi and Matteo for the Philippine adaptation of the 2013 South Korean drama 'My Love from the Star' - originally starring Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun. It tells the story of an alien who landed on Earth during the Joseon Dynasty. He later crosses paths with a sought-after actress and they gradually fall in love.

Kapuso stars Christian Bautista, Rhian Ramos, Jackie Rice, and Gabby Eigenmann also joined the lineup of actors who brought life to the hit romantic fantasy series.

Descendants of the Sun (2020) 

The local remake of the sensational Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki starrer 'Descendants of the Sun' was huge shoes to fill for Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado. But they cemented proof of their brilliant performance in the series when they landed recognition as the Most Popular Foreign Drama of the Year at the 15th Seoul International Drama Awards.

Rocco Nacino and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, who played Diego and Moira, were also lauded for their portrayal of the series' scene-stealer second lead couple - Dae-young and Myung-ju.
