Glaiza de Castro, inspired sa real-life stories ng lesbians

By BEA RODRIGUEZ

The Rich Man’s Daughter star Glaiza de Castro told Suzi Abrera on Unang Hirit that she’s inspired about the stories tagged to her on social media by real-life lesbians, “Nakaka-inspire kasi may mga taong nagta-tag pa sa amin ng stories nila and nafi-feel nila na hindi sila nag-iisa.”

“Honestly, ‘di talaga namin ini-expect na ganun na sila ka open at ganun karami 'yung tao na tatanggap [sa show],” the actress felt overwhelmed on the reception they are getting in the show so it lessened the pressure they felt as actors.

The actress-singer shared she and Rhian really prepared for their characters with the help of their director Dominic Zapata and by reading the script. Through the process, they were able to internalize and realize why such relationships happen in real life.

“Habang tumatagal, lalong mas nag-o-open up kami sa isa’t-isa na huwag mailang [at] okay lang ‘yan. Talagang hindi na naming nakikita 'yung sarili namin as dalawang babae. Kumbaga nag-fo-focus na kami sa love,” the Kapuso actress described their current situation while portraying their characters.

She also shared a little information about the unfolding story that the viewers need to wait for, “It just doesn’t only focus on the story of two women falling in love with each other so meron tayong mata-tackle na family values. Siyempre si Jade galing sa traditional tapos 'yung character ko [ay] mahal 'yung pamilya niya at meron pang back story na kailangan nilang abangan.”
