Sabado-badoo star Sef Cadayona is reaping the fruits of his labor.

In the recently concluded Golden Screen TV awards, the StarStruck alumnus bagged the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Gag/ Comedy Program, the same award he won in 2014. Proving that he's one of the best comedians of the new generation.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Sef revealed that at a young age he was already exposed to comedy acting and he thanked his family for playing a vital role in his chosen career.

Sef said, “Tuwing nanonood kami as a family laging comedy. Nag-stick sa akin ‘yun kasi kita ko ‘yung family ko tawang-tawa sila. Sabi ko gusto ko 'pag nasa room ako ganun ako nagbibigay sa tao.”

Aside from the recognition he received from Enpress, he was also chosen by the PMPC Star Awards for TV last year as the Best Comedy Actor.

Talk about a winning streak!

Sef will soon be starring in the TV remake of the hit '90s Pinoy comedy film, Juan Tamad. The Kapuso comedian talked about playing the title role.

“’Di naman po siya tamad, ang pinapaniwalaan lang niya is patience is a virtue,” he said.
