'The Red Sleeve' is a historical Korean drama series about the royal court romance in the 1700s between the King of Joseon, Yi San, who believes his duty to his country comes first before love, and a court lady who wants to protect the life she has chosen.
The aloof and perfectionist character of Yi San is portrayed by 2PM's Lee Jun-ho while the court lady is played by South Korean actress Lee Se-young.
It is also an award-winning series that took multiple awards from MBC Drama Awards 2021 and Baeksang Arts Awards 2022.
