IN PHOTOS: Sparkle artists join Nestle Philippines for 'Kapuso at Kasambuhay ng Kalikasan' coastal cleanup

Several Kapuso artists took a break from the glitz and glamour of showbiz to help save the environment as they joined GMA Network and Nestle Philippines' "Kapuso at Kambuhay ng Kalikasan" coast cleanup held at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area on September 30, 2022.
Joining 'TiktoClock' host Rabiya Mateo, 'What We Could Be' actor Yasser Marta, Kapuso host Rain Matienzo, and Sparkada member Vanessa Peña were Sparkle GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President for Talent Management and Development Joy Marcelo and Nestle Philippines CEO Kais Marzouki.
According to Ms. Joy, the artists present in the cleanup volunteered their time to help save the environment and promote sustainable lifestyle.
"Sobra kaming masaya and we're very happy, lalo na sa Sparkle. We have socially-conscious artists, so 'yung mga artist that came today, actually they volunteered kasi very conscious sila na kailangan natin talagang gumawa ng kilos to help our environment," Ms. Joy said.
"Natutuwa kami na lahat nga, they said, 'No, Ms. Joy, we want to go, we want to spend time and do our part in cleaning up the environment.' Doon pa lang, na-touch na kami na, 'Ah okay, hindi kayo kailangan sabihan, nagkusa kayo' the moment they learned we partnered with Nestle for the Kasambuhay ng Kalikasan."
