Former Pinoy Big Brother contestant Jayson Gainza took a huge step in his showbiz career after signing a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center at the 'Signed For Stardom' event on November 22, 2023 at the GMA Network compound in Quezon City.
In an Instagram post, the newly signed Kapuso talent said about his network transfer, “Sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko salamat @gmanetwork @sparklegmaartistcenter sa aking Manager Kuya Darryl at sa handler ko @rappalvarez sa pagaasikaso sa akin. Sa mga boss ng @gmanetwork salamat sa tiwala.”

Jayson Gainza entered showbiz after his stingt in the reality show 'Pinoy Big Brother' in 2005, where first runner-up to eventual winner Nene Tamayo.
The Sparkle comedian is happily married to his wife, Vernadette Gainza. They marked their 20th wedding anniversary in June 2020.
Jayson and Vernadette welcomed their bunso, Baby Raven in April 2019. They have two older children named Ruby and Rommel.
After his stint in 'Pinoy Big Brother,' Jayson established himself as one of popular comedians in the country. He was one of the main stars of the defunct gag show 'Banana Sundae.'
Aside from hitting punchlines, Jayson is also very good at impersonation. He is best remembered for imitating the 'King of Talk' Boy Abunda.
Because of his hard work and perseverance, Jayson was recognized as Best Actor in the 29th PMPC Star Awards for TV in 2015. Prior to this, he and his other co-hosts in 'Trip na Trip' were hailed as Best Travel Show Hosts by the same award in 2011.
Jayson also brought his signature brand of comedy on YouTube by creating hilarious content in his own channel.
Aside from his showbiz career, Jayson Gainza also owns a food business named 'Five Star Chicken.'
Kapuso viewers are loving Jayson's funny antics in the hit Sunday night sitcom 'Happy ToGetHer,' where portrays the character of Mike. The show is currently on a season break and is set to return in January 2023.
In his speech during the Signed For Stardom event, Jayson said he didn't expect this to happen, “Nagulat din ako, pero mas nagulat kayo.' Then, he continued, “Ako po, nagpapasalamat po sa mga bossing, kay Kuya Darryl sa akin pong RM, sa akin handler po kay Rap [Alvarez] thank you so much sa pag-aalaga po. Niyakap n'yo po ako talaga, tinanggap ako ng buong-buo at hindi ko po kayo bibiguin.” Before ending, he then joked, “ At huli po, puwede po mag-advance?”
Jayson is part of the hit morning game show 'TiktoClock' together with Pokwang, Kim Atienza, Rabiya Mateo, and Faith da Silva.
The Sparkle comedian portrays Estong in the hit action-packed primetime series 'Black Rider.'
