Jennylyn Mercado chooses to keep her love life private

FHM’s Sexiest Woman Jennylyn Mercado told Startalk that if she were to have a significant other, she prefers to not broadcast the news.

“Kung siguro magkakaroon ako ng bagong karelasyon… kung sinuman darating sa buhay ko [o] mamahalin ko ulit, siguro mas maganda yung tahimik,” she said.

 

Last week, photos of a couple holding hands, believed to be her and ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo, circulated around the internet. In a very joyful and light manner, Jennylyn denied that it was her.

 

“Ako ba yun? Sabi ko ‘ako ba ‘to?’ Hindi naman ako ‘to. Nakatalikod. Sino kaya yan? Hindi, hindi ko rin alam,” she commented.

 

The award-winning Kapuso actress, however, shared that Dennis visited the opening of her new salon.

 

“Nag-visit siya nung opening… Nagbayad. Actually, dapat ililibre ko eh, pero nagpilit. Sige, okay, business is business,” she said, laughing.

 

Although Jennylyn and Dennis still refuse to talk about their relationship status in detail, Jennylyn declares that she’s ready to be in a serious relationship and to settle down, under the right circumstances.

 

“Depende siguro sa kung paano [ang relationship ko with the guy], at kung nakikita ko na worth it naman at tanggap niya ko at buong pagkatao ko at pamilya ko, syempre si Jazz, aba, go na 'di ba?” she said.
