Lovi Poe starts taping for 'Beautiful Strangers'

After a successful show in Kuwait, Kapuso Premier Actress Lovi Poe will soon return on primetime television via Beautiful Strangers which will air this month.
According to Lovi, she’s very excited to be working with some of the most respected actors in TV and film. She will breathe life to the character of Joyce, a woman who is betrayed and seeks revenge from the family who wronged her. “I’m so happy to be part of an exciting series which will also feature some of the best actors in TV and Film. Kaya naman ganado at masayang-masaya ako na muling mapanood sa primetime,” she adds.
Meanwhile, in her latest film project "Lakambini", Lovi essays the role of Gregoria 'Oryang' De Jesus, the founder of the women's chapter of the Katipunan.
"It's a dream role for me, and it's such a huge challenge to be doing a film about a woman who made a history," says the award-winning actress.
The film is not only considered as a historical film about the Philippine Revolution, it is also a love story between Oryang, Andres Bonifacio and Julio Nakpil which will be played by actor Paulo Avelino.
