Fernando Carillo of 'Rosalinda,' to star in 'Marimar?'

Venezuelan actor Fernando Carillo visited GMA Network and had a chat with the Entertainment department's executives last week, where he expressed interest in playing a role in the second Filipino remake of Marimar.

“I would love to play [as] a musician. I spoke to the production team and I’ve never played [as] a musician,” the actor said who is known as “Fernando Jose” and the love team partner of Thalia in the hit Mexican TV series, Rosalinda.
The actor finds Miss World 2013 Megan Young suitable to play the title role. He even sang Coldplay’s A Sky Full of Star and dedicated this to the stunning actress. He said, “Megan is beautiful. She’s an amazing representative of the Filipino beauty and the Filipino woman.”

According to Cata Tibayan of 24 Oras Weekend, Fernando is currently in General Santos City after the People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao invited him to fly to his hometown.
