It seems that Bimby Aquino Yap is ready to follow in his mom's footsteps to enter the entertainment industry. Speculatiopns started when he was photographerd with talent manager Boy Abunda and Erickson Raymundo of Cornerstone Entertainment. Many fans, including his mom Kris Aquino's followers are now asking, is he ready to enter showbiz?
While his mom is known for her multiple films and TV series, Bimby has also made a name for himself by starring in several films. In a previous interview, Kris mentioned how she's not holding her son back from anything he wants to do. In fact, she's actually encouraging him to do so.

Even before his debut movie titled My Little Bossings (2013), Bimby has already appeared in several TV Commercials and billboards with her mom Kris Aquino.
In 2010, Bimby made his first appearance in a TV series starring Kris. He played the role of Michael De Jesus Crisanto in a special participation role.
It was also in 2010 when he first appeared as himself in a movie titled 'Noy,' which is about an aspiring journalist who followed the late president Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III during an election.
In 2013, Bimby starred in his debut film in 'My Little Bossings' starring her mom, Kris Aquino, together with Vic Sotto.
Bimby and Ryzza Mae Dizon were the lead child stars in 'My Little Bossings.'
Later on, Bimby worked with Vic and Ryzza again, together with Oyo Sotto, when he and her mom Kris appeared as guests in the defunct sitcom 'Vampire ang Daddy Ko.'
In 'Vampire ang Daddy Ko,' Bimby was reunited with writer-director Bibeth Orteza, who was also the writer of his debut film 'My Little Bpossings.'
Having a celebrity mom gives Bimby to meet actors who can give him tips about acting.
Bimby starred in his second film titled 'The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin' in 2014.
In this movie, Bimby worked with Abot-Kamay na Pangarap star Richard Yap, who played as his father and a general in the military.
Aside from Richard and Tom Rodriguez, Bimby also worked with 'It's Showtime' host Vice Ganda, who played the titular role in the movie.
Bimby has also gotten close to Kim Chiu, who is already like a sister to his mom.
In 2015, Bimby starred in his third film, romantic-comedy 'All You Need is Pagibig' together with an ensemble cast including Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Jodi Sta. Maria, Pokwang, Ian Veneracion, among others.
As a child star, Bimby has been nominated and won several awards including Most Influential Film Child Star of the Year for 'The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin' and Best Child Male Film Actor for 'All You Need is Pagibig.'
