Isko Moreno on signing with Sparkle: 'It's good to be home'

Magbubukas na ang bagong chapter sa showbiz career ng actor, host, at politician na si Francisco “Isko” Moreno matapos pumirma ng kontrata with Sparkle GMA Artist Center ngayong Huwebes ng hapon, July 20.
Present sa contract signing na idinaos mismo sa GMA Network Center sina Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo, at Senior Talent Manager Ms. Tracy Garcia.
Sa naturang event nagbahagi ng video message ang Kapuso Chairman at CEO na si Atty. Felipe L. Gozon para kay Isko na nadiscover noon ng legendary starmaker na si German “Kuya Germs” Moreno.
Pahayag ni Atty. Gozon, “It is therefore only proper for Yorme to retire sa GMA, if resuming his showbiz career after his public service stint.”
“Alam ng lahat na si Isko ay naging successful sa kaniyang showbiz at public service career. Yorme Isko is still young and we don't know where his destiny will bring him. Kaya Isko, whatever the future may bring, we wish you all the best and God speed.”

Hindi naman mapawi ang ngiti ni Yorme nang makapanayam ng GMA-7 internal press na balik-Kapuso na uli siya matapos ang ilang taon na paninilbihan sa gobyerno.
Lahad niya, “Salamat sa Diyos. Sabi nga, 'pag may nagsasarang isang pintuan, may nagbubukas naman na isa.
“I'm happy to be back in my first career in life, if I may put that in the right perspective, which is showbiz.
“Because pinagpapasalamat ko kay Kuya Germs nung madiskubre ako ni Dadie Wowie and went into an afternoon show, That's Entertainment with Kuya Germs and it's here in GMA-7. That's why katulad nung sabi ko it's good to be home again.”
Dagdag niya, “I'm also excited to be part of the Sparkle group and hopefully with the message of the chairman I can give justice and addition to [the] sparkling life of GMA-7.”
Binigyan-diin ni Isko na wala na sa isip niya na bumalik sa pulitika. Pahayag niya, “I already said I've quit public service.”
“I can do public service in a different manner, but government service talagang wala na. In fact, kung mashi-share ko lang sa inyo mga Kapuso, it's a long-term contract with Sparkle that I signed.”
Ayon naman kay Atty. Annette na hindi naman daw nawala ang koneksyon ni Yorme sa kaniyang home network kahit noon na nasa government service ito.
Paliwanag ng Kapuso executive, “Si Yorme naman parang never nawala sa GMA. Palagi siyang in touch, even during the time na naging public servant siya, because talagang he acknowledges GMA as his home. Especially, Kuya Germs siya ang nagdiscover sa kaniya, nag-mentor sa kaniya, tumulong sa kaniya.
“And si Yorme ay isa sa mga tao talagang lumilingon sa pinanggalingan at may utang na loob. So, ganun 'yung pagkatao niya and we are very happy na nag-sign uli siya sa GMA, now as a Sparkle talent.”
Kasalukuyang main host si Isko Moreno ng longest-running noontime show na Eat Bulaga.
