Andrea Torres and Mikael Daez’s 'Blood in Dispute' premieres in Cambodia this August

With their fast-rising popularity in the Southeast Asian region, the Kapuso love team of Andrea Torres and Mikael Daez returns to Cambodia on August 6 to 9 for the third CTN Star Tour.

Organized by GMA Worldwide, Inc. (GWI), GMA’s content distribution arm, together with CTN, Cambodia’s leading television network, the CTN Star Tour will feature the premiere night of the duo’s first international project – the mini-TV series Blood in Dispute – on August 7.

This is the pair’s second Star Tour together, having visited Cambodia last year for the second CTN Star Tour, where they were warmly greeted by their local fanbase.

Andrea and Mikael were chosen to star in Blood in Dispute, which began filming in Cambodia early this year, following a successful run of their program Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga (known by its international title It Might Be You) which aired on CTN in May 2014.

Blood in Dispute, which also includes scenes shot in the Philippines, is directed by acclaimed Canadian director Ken Simpson. The GMA-CTN co-produced show is also scheduled to air in the Philippines as a TV special. Fans of Andrea and Mikael may also get a chance to see their idols as the premiere night in Cambodia will be open to the public.

With GWI paving the way for the GMA to reach wider audiences in the international arena, viewers abroad can look forward to the best of what the Network has to offer.

Cambodian viewers can also expect an exciting line-up of GMA programs with CTN most recently acquiring several titles – With A Smile, Carmela, The Borrowed Wife, Rhodora X, Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, My Husband’s Lover and Indio
