Can’t get enough of your favorite weekend barakada? The boys and girls of the teen show Boys Nxt Door speak up about their characters and what’s new about the show. Text by Alula Love M. Dela Cruz. Their ratings climbing higher each week, proving that viewers want more. So we had ask the cast directly -- what’s the latest scoop on Boys Nxt Door? According to Glaiza De Castro who plays the nerdy Sari, her character has come along way from the pilot episode, “Gaganda na ako at di na makapal kilay ko.” But Glaize confesses that loved Sari before the transformation, “Mas gusto ko kasi mag-damit si Sari dati except yung kilay.” Aside from the physical transformation another improvement on Sari’s life is her relationship with Buboy played by Marky Cielo, “Nagtapat na siya ng feelings kay Buboy, medjo nagkailangan sila.” Marky reveals that Buboy was just shocked with the sudden turn of events, “Akala niya kasi si Ysabel na yung para sa kanya, yung pakakasalan niya, ngayon confused siya.” Marky also adds that the appearance of Zenki (Mark Herras) triggered Buboy’s feelings towards his best-friend Sari. “Para kasing ayaw niya nakikipag date si Sari, parang nag seselos siya.” Another character whose evolution will be prompted by jealousy is Ysabel played by Stef Prescott, “Girlfriend na ako ni Buboy, tapos nag seselos na ako kay Sari, parang totoong relationship talaga.” Stef also adds that amongst all the characters in the show, Ysabel will have the most changes in her attitude and view on life. Changing his view on life is Kiko Junio’s character Dec-Dec. In recent episodes Dec-Dec revealed his true feelings for Milo (Jesi Corcuerra), “Dahil sinabi ni Milo na mamahalin niya ako pag babae na ako, kaya nagging si Fiona ako.” Dec-Dec dressed up as a girl in a one of the episodes which ultimately shocked everyone, especially Winona (Rich Asuncion), “Nag seselos kasi si Kiko dahil nagiging close na kami ni Milo.” With this ever so intriguing storyline of love and friendship what more can the people expect from this show, Jesi reveals that “May mga bagong character na madaragdagan.” And two of them are Jenica Garcia and Ailyn Luna. Jenica will be playing Summer an ex-girlfriend of Migs (Aljur Abrenica) who has come to rock the world of Kofi’s (Kris Bernal) already confusing love life. “Di niya kasi alam kung si Migs or si Atom ang gusto niya.” With Jenica’s addition, the love triangle of Kofi, Migs and Atom (Mart Escudero) will become a love square. Another face that may cause havoc is Sari’s new roommate Margaret played by Ailyn Luna. Glaiza describes Margaret’s character as a “Scoundrel siya dito, kakainisan ng grupo at black mail niya ako.” You have to watch the show to find out what incriminating video Aileen posseses that could ruin the name of the goody-two-shoes Sari.
