Mike Enriquez's family accepts posthumous award from People Management Association of the Philippines

The family of GMA Integrated News pillar Mike Enriquez was present at the GMA Network Center this Friday morning (September 15) to personally receive the posthumous award given by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP).
In attendance were the wife of the late broadcaster, Lizabeth "Baby" Yumping-Enriquez together with her family members Jorge Yumping and Kevin Yumping.
First Vice President for Radio Operations Group Glenn F. Allona and Assistant VP for GMA Integrated News John Ray Arrabe were also present to witness the event.
Representing PMAP were Ellen Pulido, the 2022 PMAP and board of trustee for Media and Communications member and PMAP Communication Specialist, and Makatao Awards for Media Excellence Program Lead Martin Alcantara. They were also accompanied by Training Head Mr. Richard Mamuyac and HR Head Bernadette Tan.
Mrs. Enriquez gave a short speech during the awarding ceremony and thanked PMAP for recognizing the contribution of her late husband.
She said, “The passing of Mike has left us in a state of great sadness and loss.
“But at the same time an opportunity to celebrate his legacy- the leadership and excellence he demonstrated in the field of broadcast both in television and radio.
“His undying commitment to public service and love for life itself as a selfless individual and family man will continue to guide and inspire us. To the People Management Association of the Philippines thank you for recognizing the value and contribution of Mike to nation-building.”
