"Bakit ganoon? Sinabon ko naman, ayaw kuminis!" If you've heard that line before then you've probably seen 'StarStruck' hopeful Ayra Mariano together with Julia Montes in their commercial for facial cleanser Eskinol.

"Una po, talagang focused ako sa paggawa ko ng televesion commercials pero sa TVC naman kasi, walang credits, 'di ka nakikilala," she said.

But now, the Bulaceña beauty has her eyes set on bigger goals. When Ayra saw the call for 'StarStruck' hopefuls on TV, she hesitantly jumped at her chance knowing about the challenges that she's about to face.

"Nung pinalabas yung 'StarStruck' sa national TV na may auditions, natakot po akong sumali kasi alam ko yung flow ng naging mga 'StarStruck' before, like yung acting, dancing, and singing workshops na matindi.

Ayra trusts that joining the reality-artista search will get her where she wants to be, career-wise.

Her artista journey has not been easy and she admits to having a few road bumps on the way. But Ayra strongly believes that every failure is a good learning opportunity.
