Showbiz friends of Elizabeth Ramsey remember the Queen of Rock and Roll

Last October 8, the Soul Diva Jaya took to Facebook to announce the passing of her mother Elizabeth Ramsey.
 
"Mama Beth is now with our Lord... 83 years has been full. Love and laughter, she has given not just our family but the whole nation. Thank you for your love and prayers and I rejoice because she passes in her sleep. In peace. In God's loving arms. Bye Mama, until we meet again. I love you forever. Thank you Jesus," Jaya wrote.

This week's episode of 'Tunay na Buhay' paid respect to the music and comedy of the Queen of Rock and Roll Elizabeth Ramsey or Mama Beth to her close friends. Through interviews with Mama Beth's showbiz friends, Rhea Santos learned more of her.
 
Superstar Nora Aunor commends her skill for making everyone laugh.
 
"Kung comedy ang pag-uusapan, talagang sa akin number one siya," she said.
 
Jackie Lou Blanco also mentions Elizabeth Ramsey's joyous personality. 
 
"Kung ano yung nakikita mong pagpapatawa niya, ganiyan talaga siya. She's really funny on and off stage. Never a dull moment with her."
 
Kuya Germs will never forget Elizabeth's contributions to the local entertainment industry.
 
"Elizabeth, you are a big loss pero yung nagawa mo sa entertainment hindi matutularan," he said.
 
Boots Anson-Roa even made a joke.
 
"Kanina noong dinadasalan ko yung coffin niya sabi ko "Beth, 'wag mo ako kikindatan ha, baka himatayin ako dito!" When you think of Beth, you only think of the fun times."
 
Veteran actress Nova Villa remembers Mama Beth for her spirituality.
 
"I think, masaya naman si Tita Elizabeth sa kaniyang pagpanaw. Probably, she is prepared because she's very religious. We will pray for the repose of her soul. We're happy that she's happy too," she said.
