Sofia Andres alerts fans about fake Facebook page using her name

Sofia Andres took immediate action to warn the public about a certain Facebook page using her name and photo without her consent.
Sofia posted on her Instagram page a screenshot of the fake FB account that has already amassed over 590,000 followers.
The Kapamilya talent simply wrote in her caption, “not meeee.”
Sofia is the newest addition to the number of celebrities who fell victim to fake Facebook pages.
Like her, Kapuso Primetime goddess Carla Abellana also expressed her frustration over a fake ad on the internet using her to promote a certain product in April 2023.
She stated then, “Hello, everyone! Please be advised that I do not, never did, and never will use this brand and these products with ads circulating all over social media, particularly on FB.”
“This is false advertisement and the page owner has ignored my personal request to remove the ad. I can now proceed to take legal actions against them.”
Meanwhile, OPM singer Ronnie Liang was also a victim of a fake account on Instagram and shared his dismay about this page using his name to solicit money.
“I have received reports that this ig account is sending private messages, asking for money, and inviting people for meet-ups. Please be informed that it is an IMPOSTOR and FAKE account. I only have one official Instagram account, so if you ever receive private messages from this ronnieliang22 account, please ignore, block, or report them.” Ronnie reminded the public.
