Glaiza de Castro finds happiness in music; her first concert to air on SNBO

By MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS

Braving the music industry wasn’t an easy decision for actress Glaiza de Castro. Helping her realize that her life’s greatest passion is music were friends who recorded an informal interview and interrogation with her two years ago.

In the recording which could be heard in a video she shared that she wants to sing, release an album, and share music that will 'inspire and represent God and [herself].'

"Mahaba 'yung proseso bago ko ma-realize lahat. Ang hirap kasi minsan pero ganun naman talaga, kahit mahirap basta masaya ka itutuloy mo," she wrote.

Because of this dream that took a while to be fully realized, having her first solo concert was an answered prayer. Titled 'Dreams Never End,' the concert took place at the Music Museum last month. It featured special performances from Kitchie Nadal, Cookie Chua, Rhian Ramos, Jay-R, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

The music extravaganza will be aired on SNBO tomorrow, October 7 at 9:55 p.m.
