Bubble Gang celebrates their 20th anniversary with a book launch and documentary screening

The cast of the award-winning and high-rating gag show, Bubble Gang, held their 20th anniversary by launching a commemorative book and screening of the documentary special produced by GMA News and Public Affairs.
The event, held at the Gateway Cineplex last Friday (November 27), was a star-studded affair with the cast of the show, press people, and network executives all in attendance to celebrate the show's milestone.

GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon in a speech lauded the men and women behind the comedy show for giving their best throughout the decades and by setting the bar high in terms of entertaining viewers with their exceptional jokes and gags.
Atty. Gozon said, “Gusto ko lamang magpasalamat sa ngalan ng GMA Network sa mga bumuo at kasalukuyang bumubuo ng Bubble Gang dahil ang Bubble Gang ang pinakamatagal na Philippine comedy series.”
“Ang Bubble Gang ay nagbibigay sa ating lahat ng tunay na Pinoy jokes, gags, sketches, parodies, and spoofs. At ang Bubble Gang din ang nagbibigay sa atin o nagbigay ng ‘di makakalimutang mga karakters na tumatak sa pop culture.”

Before the start of the special screening of the documentary, which features Kapuso anchors Mr. Mike Enriquez and Ms. Jessica Soho, the creative brain behind the gag show Michael V shared his feelings to the fans and supporters who went to celebrate with them that day.
The Kapuso comedy genius pointed out that it is a humbling experience that their show was given an opportunity to last that long.
“Parang mahirap para sa isang show tumagal ng twenty years, actually mahirap para sa isang artista na tumagal din ng 20 years. May mga ibang tao hindi nga tumatagal ng twenty years ang buhay nila.”
“Pero ako I feel so blessed na nandidito ako, buhay sa isang show, nagpe-perform para sa lahat ng audience natin na sumusubaybay, sumusuporta sa ating lahat. So, I feel so blessed; I feel so thankful,” he added.
Long-time mainstay Diego Llorico, who started out as a personal assistant in Bubble Gang, felt proud that he is part of the shows 20-year reign and their loyal Kababol can have their own piece of Bubble history by getting their personal copy of the "Bubble Gang 20th Anniversary Commemorative Comedy Chronicles."
