Sexy inside and out

She brought attention to herself with her curvaceous body and a slightly dangerous smile to match. As a former member of the sexy girl group Viva Hot Babes, Jen Rosendahl knows she has the body and the looks to make it in show business. It's not only the physical eh" Jen discloses in an interview during her GMA Artist Center pictorials. "At first, it's physical attraction, but kunwari mag-uusap kayo tapos nothing comes out 'di ba, mawawala rin yung sexiness for me" she explains. The 23-year-old actress continues by saying "intelligence is an important thing. That's why I also choose the people I hang out with." And somehow cautious, she asks with a laugh, "sexy ba ako?" Still laughing, she opts to answer the question herself. "I'm intelligent naman eh. You can talk to me about anything. You can talk to me and hindi ka magsasawa - sana." Jen adds that she finds herself sexy because she can talk with sense. Because having brains is an important factor for Jen, she shares that this is also one of the reasons why she loves her long-time boyfriend. "We've been together for four years now and he makes me laugh all the time. He listens to me. He knows how to handle me, to calm me down kasi sasabog din ako and he understands my line of work" she says. Getting Physical After five years in the entertainment industry, Jen still has not lost the knack for staying sexy. She may be concerned with inner beauty, but she sees to it to maintain a physically fit - and attractive - body. She does not have special diets since these "don't last long with me. Kaya kong hindi kumain for a week, and then babagsak, babalik na naman ako sa super takaw" she explains. Nor does she have beauty regimens. So how exactly does she preserve her physique? "I play badminton thrice a week. And I've been doing this pole-dance and stripping thing. Bago iyon ah, (and) it's also very famous in Europe" she shares. "I'm doing this now for two to three weeks and I'm very happy. (For some) people, akala nila bastusin 'yung sayaw, (pero) it's really effective and it's lots of fun" she gladly narrates. Life in GMA Although better known because of her sexy image, Jen shifts gears in her career and settles with GMA as an exclusive talent. Now that she is part of the Kapuso network, Jen says people can expect a "total image change" from her. "I'm going to be wholesome, medyo mataray. I think they want to build me up as a kontrabida. Nothing definite yet, but that's what they want to do with me. Batsa repackaging eh. No more sexy stuff" she imparts. As early as now, Jen is liking the idea of being an antagonist. "Feeling ko bagay talaga sa'kin minsan ang mang-api. That's what people have been telling me from the start." True enough, being an on-screen foe is where she her career is going. Even before Jen signed up as a GMA exclusive artist, she appeared in its primetime hit Asian Treasures , where she tried to stop Elias's ( Robin Padilla) journey to success. At present, Jen is bent on giving acting her best shot and living up to the Network’s expectations. “I’ve been with GMA for four months now and so far I’m very, very happy. I love the people I’ve worked with. We’re all close, we don’t have intrigues and nagtutulungan kami” she ends.
