P-pop continues to rise as more groups and artists emerge to share their music with Filipino fans like SB19, ALAMAT, and Sparkle's boy group CLOUD 7.
One of the many P-pop groups gaining extreme support today is the eight-member girl group BINI known for the hit TikTok dance craze "Pantropiko."
In line with their continuous success, BINI is set to do their first-ever solo concert at the New Frontier from June 28 to 30, 2024 entitled BINIverse.
Their organic growth -- from trainees to a highly recognized idol group -- is one of the things that make them stand out from their peers. They achieved some of their biggest goals in less than four years of their career, and BINI's passion for performing will take them to bigger places for years to come.

BINI is an eight-member girl group under ABS-CBN Star Music composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. They officially debuted on June 11, 2021, with the single Born To Win.
They are known for their hit songs “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Karera,” “Na Na Na,” and “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi.”
The eight-member ensemble trained for almost two years from 2018 to 2020 and was initially called SHA (Star Hunt Academy) Trainees.
Before their debut in 2021, BINI released their rendition of Smokey Mountain's Da Coconut Nut on November 20, 2020, as their pre-debut single and homage to its original composer, Ryan Cayabyab.
The P-pop group took inspiration from the K-pop system and assigned specific positions to each member. Aiah is BINI's visual, sub-vocal, and sub-rapper; Colet is the main vocal, lead dancer, and lead rapper, Maloi is the group's main vocal, and Gwen is the lead vocal and lead rapper.
Meanwhile, Stacey is recognized as the main rapper and lead dancer, Mikha as the main rapper, lead dancer, and visual, Jhoanna as the group's leader, lead vocal, and lead rapper, and Sheena, the youngest, is also one of the main dancers.
The group name BINI was coined from the Tagalog word 'binibini,' which “represents the modern Filipina -- sweet and sassy, informed and aware.”
BINI's fandom is called Bloom(s), stylized as BL∞M(S). It was chosen during a special announcement livestream on February 13, 2021, and signifies the group's tagline 'walo hanggang dulo.' It is also “a lovely reminder of BINI's story and journey. It stands for the beginning of springtime, that there's always beauty after every cold trial."
BINI's success skyrocketed when their b-side “Pantropiko” trended in the online platform TikTok. Netizens loved and did the song's choreography made by BINI's main dancer and youngest member, Sheena.
The girl group was recently named the most-streamed P-pop artist by Spotify Philippines last March 26. BINI also has a staggering amount of 2.7 million monthly listeners.
BINI was recently awarded the Rising Star of Billboard Philippines Women in Music last March.
BINI also had a podcast on Spotify entitled Podcast ng mga Walang Jowa. It recently grabbed the second spot for Top Podcast.
BINI also did covers of K-pop songs like Red Velvet's “In & Out,” BLACPINK's “How You Like That,” and TWICE's “More & More” during their trainee days.
Aside from their talents in performing, BINI is loved by fans because of their lovely personalities and top-notch fan services. Maloi once gave PhP 1,000 to a fan who asked for fare and sharpened a fan's pencil during an event. The members also actively interact with BLOOMs on X (formerly Twitter).
BINI is set to perform at the New Frontier Theater from June 28 to 30, 2024, for their first-ever solo concert. Tickets for their June 28 show were immediately sold out, which prompted Star Music to add two more days to the concert. BLOOMs camped out at malls to buy tickets for the additional shows and were reportedly sold out in less than two hours.
The girl group marked another milestone in their career when they recently conducted their Talaarawan Mall Show attended by more than 8,000 BLOOMs in Market! Market! last April 14.
BINI's excellence and passion for performing earned them the name Nation's Girl Group. As their success skyrockets, BINI promises BLOOMs to give more eye-catching performances.
