Pia Wurtzbach to fly to Manila for grand homecoming and Pauleen Luna's wedding

After over a month of being in the United States, the Philippines’ pride Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is set to be back in Manila on January 23.
 

Although her official reign has begun, Pia wouldn’t miss out on the opportunity to return to her hometown for a bit to celebrate with her fellow Filipinos.

It will be a busy week with several events lined up for her – a grand parade, a charity event, a courtesy call, a homecoming special and the wedding of her best friend Pauleen Luna to Vic Sotto.

She’s also set to return to Manila on April for the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.
 

Since she won, she has been interviewed by several American TV shows, including Good Morning America, CNN Tonight, Nightline and Inside Edition.

Pia is the third Filipina to bag the Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran in 1969 and 1973, respectively.
