According to John, they were expecting a lot of people to visit the wake of Kuya Germs as he was one of the most loved personalities in the entertainment industry.

“Sa ngayon, napagkasunduan ng pamilya na kasi alam namin, we are expecting a lot of people na makidalamhati sa amin, and alam mo knowing Kuya Germs, gusto niya  masaya lahat. Siguro we need a big place kaya sa Mount Carmel, malapit lang kasi kami doon eh. Sa Mount Carmel ‘yan along Aurora Boulevard,” he shared

John added that they were also looking into having Kuya Germs’ wake at his second home, GMA Network. He said, “Plano ring dalhin siya sa network natin, sa GMA. Pinagpaplanuhan namin ‘yun dahil alam kong hindi lahat makakapunta so dadalhin namin siya doon kasi ‘yan ang bahay niya all of his life.”

In John’s interview, he shared that Kuya Germs was a selfless man who thinks of others before himself. In fact, his last requests were all about the love and well-being of all the people he loved the most.

He said, “Habilin in particular, wala. Pero to sum it up, kasi gusto niya ayos kaming lahat, ayos ang anak niyang si Federico, ayos ang lahat ng mga apo niya, lahat ng mga pamangkin niya kasama na ako doon. Basta masaya siya, alam niyang nasa magandang katayuan kami.”

John revealed that Kuya Germs loved everyone in the industry. He said, “Si Kuya Germs, mahal lahat. Kapuso, alam natin, loyal siya sa Kapuso pero ‘yung mga Kapamilya, Kapatid, hindi niya kami ever diniscourage [to feature them sa show]. Kami lang ang show na napaka-neutral.”
