As one of the pioneers of the now defunct That’s Entertainment, Kapuso actress Manilyn Reynes found it difficult to bid goodbye to her father in showbiz, German “Kuya Germs” Moreno.

“The past few days have been hard. Been so emotional and I found always found myself missing him. Singing for him in tributes made me realize I will not see him anymore,” she began in her Instagram post.

“Today, I know it’s time to let go. I am not worried anymore, for I know in my heart that I’ve shown him my love,” Manilyn wrote.

“Ok na po Tito Germs, salamat po ha… Sa lahat-lahat. Mula po s[a] akin, kay Aljohn at sa mga [b]ata. Para sa akin.. Isa kayong amang mapagmahal, ma-kalinga at mapagtanggol. Kaya hindi nap o ako malulungkot. Alam ko pong nakatingin kayo ng buong pagmahahal. Mahala [sic] na mahal ko rin po kayo, Tito Germs… Rest ka na po,” she concluded.

Manilyn shared in a previous post how the late Master Showman had always supported her and her projects. She claimed the good ethics she now practices as an actress were lessons she learned from Kuya Germs. She also thanked him for coining her monicker Mane.

Manilyn also reminisced about That’s Entertainment two days before Kuya Germs's passing, January 6, which marked the 30th anniversary of the show.

Kuya Germs will be laid to rest today, January 14, at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.
