Filipino-British gymnast Jake Jarman is currently receiving a lot of support from Filipinos.

Aside from Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo's historic gold win at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Filipinos are also celebrating Jake Jarman's huge achievement in his Olympic debut.

Jake Jarman finished third in the Artistic Gymnastics men's floor exercise event with 14.933 points at the Bercy Arena in Paris on Saturday, August 3, behind gold medalist Carlos Yulo and silver Artem Dolgopyat of Israel.

The 22-year-old British gymnast captured the interest of Filipinos worldwide after he recently revealed that he is half-Filipino.

In his Instagram stories, Jake Jarman answered "Real" to a follower's question about whether he is half-Filipino. He also shared a childhood photo of himself wearing a white shirt that read: "Jake loves Cebu."

According to Jake, his mother, Ana Jarman, is from Cebu.
