Jerald Napoles considers 'Sunday PinaSaya' his biggest break in showbiz

Kapuso rising star Jerald Napoles feels honored to receive Sunday PinaSaya's first award as the "Best Entertainment Program" in behalf of the cast last week.

In that proud moment, he was reminded of his show business debut via the GMA comedy-variety show which he considers as his biggest break.

He said in an interview with GMANetwork.com, "Thankful ako na mapagkatiwalaan na maging isa sa 10 na hosts ng show. Para sa akin, kasama ako sa sugal na nangyari [dahil] bagong show ang hinain at kasama ako sa bagong mukha na pinakita."

Jerald is an example of a successful stage actor who was able to transition from Theatre to television since he starred in PETA Theatre's "Rak of Aegis" production. He added, "Nagpapasalamat din ako kasi nabigyan ako ng chance na ipakita kung ano ang pwede kong gawin sa isang live entertainment, bilang nanggaling ako ng theater. "Rak Of Aegis" [became] a big part kaya ako nakasali sa "Sunday PinaSaya.""

His stint in the Sunday noon-time show led him to various shows in the Kapuso network like in the GMA Telebabad soaps "My Faithful Husband" and "That's My Amboy" as well as a guest in "Vampire Ang Daddy Ko" and in the hit Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie "#Walang Forever."

Acting, singing, dancing, you name it, he can do it all! Even though he is known as a talented and versatile actor, he has a flare for dancing.

"Actually, first love ko ang dancing kasi galing ako sa pamilya ng dancers. I danced already sa ilang [productions] ng "Sunday PinaSaya" kaya I'm happy na nama-maximize nila 'yung mga kaya kong gawin," the actor-host said.

He would want to dance more, but he doesn't want to limit himself to something that he already knows. The multi-hyphenated artist concluded, "Anything na pwede kaya kong gawin, I'll do it naman for the show."
