Kokoy De Santos is ending the month of September with a huge win. The Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) 2024 announced yesterday, September 26, that the 'Bubble Gang' star was hailed as the national winner for Best Actor in a leading role.
Kokoy's performance in the drama film “Your Mother's Son” earned him the recognition. Directed by Jun Lana, the the movie also won the Best Feature Film award, beating the other nominated Filipino films.
In his Instagram post, Kokoy dedicated his latest achievement to his family and fans for their unwavering support for him.

Meanwhile, Kokoy's 'Bubble Gang' co-star, ace comedian Michael V., also won as the national winner in the Best Actor/ Actress in a Comedy role for his portrayal in the hit sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kuwento. The flagship comedy was also recognized as the Best Comedy Programme.
