Meryll Soriano wins Best Supporting Actress at the 14th Gawad Tanglaw Awards 2016

Metro Manila Film Festival entry 'Honor Thy Father' wins big at the 2016 Gawad Tanglaw Awards. The film receiveD a total of six awards: Best Picture, Best Director (Erik Matti,) Best Actor (John Llyod Cruz,) Best Supporting Actress (Meryll Soriano, tied with "Etiquette for Mistresses" actress Pilar Pilapil,) Best Musical Scoring (Erwin Romulo,) and Best Screenplay (Michiko Yamamoto.)
The 'That's My Amboy' actress thanked the organization in her Instagram account: "Taos puso po ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat nang bumubuo ng Gawad Tanglaw sa pagbibigay ng mga parangal sa Honor Thy Father."
