As the onslaught of destructive Typhoon Kristine brought damage to many regions in the Philippines, help from different organizations also came pouring in.
GMA's Operation Bayanihan: Bagyong Kristine Telethon was launched on October 25 in cooperation with Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Kapuso Foundation.
Among the Kapuso stars who joined the relief efforts are Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Betong Sumaya, Kyline Alcantara, Sean Lucas, Eunice Lagusad, Kristoffer Martin, Martin del Rosario, Martin Javier, Ruru Madrid, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, Rocco Nacino, Melissa Gohing-Nacino, Migs Almendras, Nikki Van, Olive May, among others.
