Eat Bulaga announces AlDub movie on 9th monthsary
Lines between reel and real were once again blurred during the ninth monthsary of AlDub on Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye.
The announcement was made by Lola Nidora, played by Wally Bayola after a clapper board was pulled out of the box she presented to Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub.

"Maine, Alden, kita niyo? Ito ang panahon para sa hinihintay ng marami. Ito na ang panahon para magkaroon kayo ng sarili niyong pelikula. Deserve niyo ito kaya pumapayag na ako," says Lola Nidora.
Maine revealed that she felt it was the "tamang panahon" or right time for her to do the movie after being hesistant about some past project offers.
"Lola, alam niyo naman po na simula noong nagsimula 'yung AlDub, ang dami na pong nagyari sa buhay namin ni Alden, lalo na po sa akin, kasi first time ko. Lahat po ng ginagawa ko dito, lahat po puro una. Kaya 'yung iba po nagmamadali, pine-pressure po tayo," Maine begins.
Pero lola alam niyo naman po na hindi ko naman po kayang pagsabay-sabayin lahat 'di ba? Na lahat naman po ng bagay na lahat po ng tatahakin ko po dito, may tamang panahon. Ngayon po siguro 'yung tamang panahon para magkaroon kami ng sarili naming pelikula ni Alden," she adds.
Alden was emotional but was up to the challenge.
"Sa lahat po ng naghihintay, sa lahat po ng minsan nagdududa po samin ni Maine at sa lahat po ng hindi na makapaghintay, ito na po. Excited na po kami ni Maine na gawin 'tong proyektong 'to para sa inyo—sa lahat po ng sumusuporta at nagmamahal sa amin," says a tearful Alden.
He turns to Maine and gives her a message as well.
"Maine, hinintay ko 'to para sa ating dalawa and I can't wait to do this movie with you. Let's prove them wrong," he says before giving her a tight hug.

Maine also gave a message to their supporters.
"Sa lahat po ng sumusuporta sa amin ni Alden, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat kasi dream come true po ito para sa min ni Alden and promise na gagalingan po namin," she says.
This will be Alden and Maine's second movie together, having appeared in last year's Metro Manila Film Festival entry My Bebe Love with Bossing Vic Sotto and Philippine Comedy Queen Aiai delas Alas.
