Inspirational-drama film Green Bones received overwhelming support and love from Filipinos nationwide during the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival. With its stunning cinematography and heartfelt story, the film captivated audiences from the release of its teasers to its public screenings. Even after the MMFF showings ended, Green Bones continued its successful run, entering its fourth week in cinemas due to high demand from fans eager for more.
Adding to the excitement, the film also took home six prestigious awards at the MMFF's Gabi ng Parangal: Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid), Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens), Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza), Best Cinematography (Neil Daza), and Best Picture.
