Rhian Ramos inked another contract with GMA, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. When she began her showbiz career in 2006, she was only 15 years old, but she had the foresight that she would be staying long in the network.

“The thing is, when I started, I saw myself here. You know when people ask you, ‘Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? When I was starting, this is what I thought – that I would be here, signing my nth contract at this station,” she said in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com.

The Kapuso performer is glad to have her vision come to life as she celebrates a decade both in GMA and in the entertainment industry.

“I never pictured it any other way, so for me, it’s nice and it feels like a little full circle moment for me to be back in the room where it all began,” she shared right after the contract signing.

For her, the network and the people she met in it helped her find her place in the world and know herself better.

“When I was younger, I was quite shy and I had trouble trying to make friends and I didn’t know which group I fit into… At first, [showbiz] can make you a little insecure and it’s like an amped up version of that whole high school feeling where you don’t know you belong… [but] now that I know who I am already, I’ve become so comfortable about who I am and I know [where] to find the people I get along with,” Rhian revealed.

At the end of the event, a network executive says a few words to her before saying goodbye – “Thank you, ha? Thank you for signing up with us.”

All smiles, she replied, “Oh of course, it's my pleasure. This is my home.”
