The Sotto clan celebrates five election winners
The Sotto clan threw a victory dinner celebration for their five family members who got elected and reelected into national and local government offices.
According to the partial and official count of the Comelec, Tito Sotto holds the third senatorial spot with over 16 million votes. Meanwhile, four cousins won as councilors – Tito’s children Lala and Gian in Quezon City, Val’s son Wahoo in Parañaque, and Vic’s son Vico in Pasig.
“We love to serve and we give back all the glory to God!” Lala wrote on Instagram.
Wahoo also attributed their win to the Lord and expressed gratefulness for being able to be in public service with his family.
“I humbly praise and thank GOD for giving us the opportunity to serve our constituents again, it is truly our honor, and also for being able to serve side by side with family,” Wahoo said.
Vico guaranteed good governance as he assumes office.
“Salamat sa suporta at tiwala. Sa kahabaan ng kampanya, isa lang po ang binitawan kong pangako: Gagawin ko ang lahat ng makakaya ko to further good governance in Pasig. Kung gusto nating umunlad, magtulungan po tayo. Asahan po ninyo na sa susunod na tatlong taon, ako po'y magiging kabalikat ninyo sa ating konseho,” he shared.
