Denise Barbacena looks forward to playing Jaclyn Jose and Gardo Versoza's daughter

Young comedian Denise Barbacena is set to play Kaycee, the daughter of the characters of Jaclyn Jose and Gardo Versoza in upcoming sexy comedy A1 Ko Sa ‘yo.
 
Instead of letting the pressure get to her, she shared that she will use the opportunity to observe and learn from two veteran celebrities.
 
“Masaya katrabaho si Ms. Jaclyn [and] si Kuya Gardo [whom I’ve got to work with] before. Sana magtuloy-tuloy yung working relationship [namin] na masaya lang, tapos nagtutulungan,” she said.
 
The Protégé alumna also thanked Bubble Gang for teaching her what she knows about comedy. She hopes that she will be able to add a special flavor to the weekday sitcom.
 
“For three [to] four years, nasa Bubble Gang ako [at] na-excite ako nung nalaman ko na finally, magkakaroon ako ng [isa pang] avenue to showcase 'yung talent ko. So hopefully, matawa sila and makita nila 'yung humor [ng] character [ko],” she added.
 
She also looks forward to how her character who is determined to follow the footsteps of her mom, will develop and grow.
 
“Na-e-excite ako dun sa story itself [at] kung anong gagawin nung character ko. Hopefully, magkaroon rin ng [relation to] reality [kasi] 'di ba, meron tayong gustong mga matupad? Pero hanggang saan nga ba 'yung limit [ng pagkagusto natin dito]? Titingnan natin 'yung magiging character ni Kaycee kung paano niya ipaglalaban 'yung dream niya,” she ended.
