Jaclyn Jose on offer to have motorcade for her: No need

After her noteworthy win as the Best Actress in the Cannes Film Festival 2016 for Ma’ Rosa, Jaclyn Jose was offered to have a motorcade in her honor.

During the press conference of her upcoming sexy comedy show A1 Ko Sa ’Yo yesterday, May 24, she said that there is no need for a grand celebration. The warm welcome given to her by her home network was more than enough.

“Hindi naman kailangan na yun 'di ba? Ito lang salubong sa akin ng Kapuso where I’m under contract, ang laki na nito. Sapat na sapat na nandiyan ['yung mga boss natin]. 'Yung welcome ninyo mula sa isang guard, pagpasok [ko, sabi niya] 'Si Jaclyn nandiyan na! Si Jaclyn nandiyan na!' Ang sarap na po ng pakiramdam na 'yun,” she said.
 
Additionally, the congratulations she received from her fellow Filipinos in France and during her layover in the UAE already felt festive.

“Nung awards night, marami tayong mga kababayan na nandun talaga. Kahit ang sakit sakit ng paa ko, linakad ko sila. Nakipag-picture naman ako [and] I rejoiced with them. Sa airport, kahit saan [kami] magpunta, basta may Pilipino, kahit sa Dubai, [ganun din 'yung energy]… Kapag may ganitong karangalan, [ang hahanapin mo talaga] mga kababayan,” she shared.
 
Jaclyn Jose is the first Filipino and first Southeast Asian to bag the award in the prestigious film fest.
