AlDub vies for Newsmakers of the Year and Celebrity Pair of the Year titles

AlDub, the phenomenal love team composed of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, has been nominated for two categories in Pepsters’ Choice. The Eat Bulaga kalye-serye pair is vying for Newsmakers of the Year and Celebrity Pair of the Year titles.
 
For the first title, the two are going against Alma Moreno and the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
 
The criteria for this award are the following: 30% page views, 30% unique visitors and 40% impact (buzz, publicity and ratings).
 
For the second title, meanwhile, they’re competing with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, Ian Veneracion and Jodi Sta. Maria, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali, Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad, Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta, and Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia.
 
The criteria for this award are the following: 20% visibility, 40% success of solo/joint projects/ventures and 40% impact.
 
Each netizen/user can cast a total of 100 votes daily which can be used across all categories.
 
According to PEP’s website, the awards are meant to recognize outstanding celebrities, TV programs, newsmakers, and other personalities for their exceptional contribution to the entertainment industry. The awards night will be on August.
