Jaclyn Jose on new show 'A1 Ko Sa'yo': 'Sexy comedy, pero ako, hindi sexy'

Cannes Film Festival 2016 Best Actress Jaclyn Jose leads the cast of A1 Ko Sa’yo, the sexy comedy show that will launch on GMA Network this June 2.

“Sexy comedy [‘to] pero hindi ako sexy. Siguro feeling ko kaya ako ang kinuha kasi kung sexy kinuha, malaswa. Eh ako, kahit maglabas ako ng hita ko [okay lang],” she quipped.
 
Although she’s more used to drama, she looks forward to how this project will turn out.
 
“My first love is drama [pero for this show], siyempre si Direk Randy [Santiago na] bahala sa ‘kin diyan. Kung ano ipagawa niya sa ‘kin, gagawin ko lang,” she said.
 
She also admitted to feeling a bit of pressure because she has to juggle two contrasting roles – the cunning Stella in the afternoon drama The Millionaire’s Wife and the frustrated beauty queen Digna in the evening sitcom A1 Ko Sa’yo.
 
“Itong comedy na ‘to, I have to work on it. Trabahuhin ko kasi [I’m doing] The Millionaire’s Wife. Sobrang evil [ko dun eh]… Pero sana maging happy kayo [dito]. Sana matuwa ang lahat,” she told the press.
