Janine Gutierrez proudly shows off her no sleep and no makeup face

How can Kapuso star Janine Gutierrez still look so alluring in a shoot even with no sleep and makeup on? With only CC cream, tinted lip balm, brushed eyebrows and curled lashes, the mestiza beauty bravely faced the camera lens.

Last year, she shared with a blog her beauty regimen and makeup must-haves. But, this year, the actress opted to introduce to the online fashion magazine, L’officiel Manila, how important it is to stay makeup-free.
 
As much as possible, the Once Again star stays away from makeup as much as she can, and that’s only during her free days.
 
“It just feels so much better and lighter and when I see myself without make up, it reminds me to take better care of my skin, which I feel is more important than putting a lot on to cover it up,” she said.
 
Janine also explained the hassle of having too much makeup on her face, “I always feel like I have to be more careful – not to smudge my eyeliner or get lipstick on my teeth. I become conscious about touching up and re-applying this and that.”
 
The mestiza actress also believes that being beautiful is not based on how one looks, but how one thinks that reflects the outside. She expounded, “Beauty is a mindset. It’s not something you see, [it’s] something that you feel and that other people feel when they’re around you. It’s a kind of energy.”
 
She thinks Emilia Clarke as Khaleesi of Game of Thrones is the most beautiful person in the world!
