Now that she has graduated from college with a degree in Communication Arts from Angelicum College, Julie Anne San Jose is ironing out her plans.

Aside from accommodating hosting, acting, and singing projects, she wants to pursue further studies and take up the offer of her alma mater to teach.

“I’m very excited and I’m looking forward to more opportunities kasi I’m planning din na mag-take up ng Master’s and teach next year. [May] nakalatag na na door for me para magturo, kasi in-offer sa ‘kin ng department head namin na magturo ng college,” she said.

She shared that she was offered to teach Philippine Theater.

Julie Anne’s plan to teach wasn’t impulsive as her mom used to be a Computer teacher.

“Before, nakikita ko siya nagtuturo so sabi ko 'ay gusto ko maging teacher din tulad [niya]' kasi ang daming students tapos ang saya lang… Gusto ko talaga magturo. Siguro [by] next year, second semester,” she added.

Asked about how she balances all her commitments, Asia’s Pop Sweetheart noted the importance of one’s dedication to their chosen fields.

“When you really want to be successful, if you really want to do something na you really want, you have to be wholehearted. You can’t be halfhearted kasi mawawala ka sa focus mo… you really have to do everything [for the dream], you have to be determined,” she concluded.
