EXCLUSIVE: Former 'Eat Bulaga' host Joyce Pring praises Sam YG and the noon-time show

By BEA RODRIGUEZ

Did you know host-DJ Joyce Pring was once part of the longest running noon-time show as part of the segment 'Trip Na Trip' where she mixed smashing dance hits in 2014?

Although she didn’t get to work with fellow host-DJ Sam YG in the show, she praised him for the success of the 'That’s My Bae' segment in which he nailed every pickup line and lesson as the Boom-bae.

“Sam is so passionate and loves his job so much. He’s always been successful, but like the boom of [Eat] Bulaga is not surprising at all,” the one-half of SamPring told GMANetwork.com.

The former Dabarkads even reminisced the time she hosted for Eat Bulaga, “It was really fun. I was there for a couple of months [because] I was part of this game.”

If there is one thing she misses about the show, the actress-host said it’s the people comprising the noon-time show, “The people love what they do so much, and they’re so good at it. They’re so talented and the kindest people ever. You cannot wish for anybody nicer than the people you work with in [Eat] Bulaga.”

She added, “As in walang ere doon. ‘Pag nandun ka, sobrang you feel at home no matter what station you come from.”
