"Pilapil" is an action movie that sees James Blanco as a man from a humble farming background who turns to a life of crime when he lived in the city. He stars alongside David Remo, Pancho Magno, and Diva Montelaba.

Unique Aeta wedding traditions are explored in "Paglipay" (Crossing). The film employs the talents of real life Aetas Garry Cabalic and Joan de la Cruz.

The story of "Pauwi Na" was inspired by real life when a newspaper wrote about the adventure of one family that rode a pedicab all the way to their home province Leyte. The big stars involved in the film are Bembol Roco, Cherry Pie Picache, Jerald Napoles, and Meryll Soriano.

"Kakampi" takes inspiration from a seemingly ordinary taxi ride of the author of the story. The film follows Neil Ryan Sese as Ben who works as a taxi driver and Felix Roco as Jun, his passenger. Ben tells Jun of a story on how he became a lanzones farmer in Camiguin.

"Pitong Kabang Palay" is a coming-of-age film that focuses on the life of a simple farming family. Particularly on the child named Balong and how he can help in raising his family from poverty.
