Chris Tiu and wife Clarisse Ong welcome baby Amanda Claire

Two weeks before Fathers' Day, Kapuso host and basketball star Chris Tiu welcomed his first baby with wife Clarisse Ong. Baby Amanda Claire was born on Sunday, June 5.

Chris posted a photo of his bundle of joy on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message.

"June 5, 2016. The day that changed my life. No championship or accomplishment can compare to the overwhelming joy we felt when this little girl finally entered this world. I've never felt so happy that I was moved to tears," he wrote.

He also recalled seeing baby Amanda Claire's heartbeat for the first time. "Now she's a full human being wrapped around our arms, this is truly the miracle of life! And the most wonderful blessing and manifestation of God's generous love. Cla and I would like to thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes! Let's welcome baby Amanda Claire."
