GMA’s animated anthology series Alamat makes history for being the first Philippine show to win the “Best of Festival Award” at the 2016 US International Film & Video Festival (USIFVF).

Alamat bagged the international recognition for its ‘Ang Alamat ng Bayabas’ episode.

Alamat’s Season 2 finale is set to air this Sunday, June 19, at 5:15 P.M. on GMA.

The USIFVF, which began in 1967, hosts mini-competitions to give recognition to outstanding corporate, education, entertainment, documentary and student productions.
