Direk Albert Langitan drops hints about a 'pasaway star' in his show 'The Millionaire's Wife'

Many netizens were curious about TV director Albert Langitan’s Facebook post that quickly spread like wildfire on social media.

Last week, Albert’s popular afternoon soap The Millionaire’s Wife (TMW) starring Andrea Torres, Jaclyn Jose, and Mike Tan ended its run.

In his post, the TMW director talked about the challenges of doing a drama program. He even discussed the controversies surrounding the show where he mentioned a certain “pasaway cast” and his personal life splashed all over the local after tiff with his estranged wife, Hazel Langitan, became public.

Albert said, “Ngayong araw (June 24) nagtapos ang The Millionaire's Wife. Parang natapos din ang isang magandang karanasan sa biyahe ko bilang direktor. Biyahe na pinasaya at ginawang makabuluhan dahil sa mga taong nakasama... mula mga artista hanggang utility.

“Totoong maraming pagsubok ang pinagdaanan sa simula pa lamang: na-diyaryo ang EP ko, may mga kasamang naging pasaway mapa-crew man o artista (hindi si Sid Lucero dahil napakagaan ninyang katrabaho dito at di rin si Ina Raymundo dahil magaling pala syang artista bukod sa pantasya pa rin ng mga crew pati ng TD ko), may mga nang-iwan at nagpabaya dahil sa mas malaking proyekto, ilang beses nagkasakit ang location manager.”

Despite the problems that their show encountered, Direk Albert still cherishes the wonderful journey they went through and congratulated all the men and women behind The Millionaire’s Wife.

“Gayunpaman, sa huli ay nabuo ang masayang samahan at pagkakaibigan na nagpasarap sa biyahe kahit gaano man kahirap ang mga pinagdaanan. Congrats, TEAM TMW! Natapos tayo pero di tayo natapos na nanghihinayang sa ating mga pinaghirapan. LOVE YOU ALL! MWAH MWAH XOXO!”
