'Tale of Arang's' Shin Min-ah is Janelle Kang in 'Oh My Venus'

Janelle (Shin Min-ah) was once dubbed as the “Venus of Daegu,” being the prettiest girl in her town. The 18-year-old was so famous for her goddess-like visuals and perfect body ratio that guys would do the craziest things just to get her attention, including writing her name in front of her school’s gate to confessing their undying love at the local radio station. Her beauty queen appearance was so widely known, that an agent even wanted to recruit her to take part in the upcoming Miss Korea 1999.
