Arianne Bautista receives franchise offers for her business

By MARY LOUISE LIGUNAS

An elated Arianne Bautista revealed that her restaurant business Tornado Peri-peri Chicken is expanding soon as several parties have shown interest for franchise. What makes her even more excited is that they want to bring the business to different parts of the Philippines.

“Ang dami na gustong mag-franchise. Sa Palawan, sa Baguio, alam ko, may Cebu pa… They signed na [an agreement with us and] we’re planting seeds,” she said.

This is beyond Arianne’s expectation because she just envisioned a small business that would serve as her investment and second source of income to show business.

“For the first few months, humble [business] lang [ang plano]. I just wanted a small business kasi wala rin naman akong [solid] background kasi I graduated Tourism. But since positive yung response ng people at nagustuhan nila yung food, [expanding is a good idea]. I really enjoy managing the business so sana tuloy tuloy na ‘to,” she added.

Five years from now, she envisions Tornado Peri-peri Chicken to be a nationwide chain of restaurants. As for her showbiz career, she enjoys the roles being given to her and is hopeful about her future projects.

“I want to be recognized [by people] and I want to [do well] in showbiz… Syempre, [gusto ko] maging leading lady. [I want to venture into] rom com and [eventually be able to] act super heavy drama like my ultimate idol Marian Rivera,” she shared.
